Magic Color Slider Card MEETS Shaker Card! Posted on 9 Aug 23:11 , 125 comments

I love both magic color slider cards and shaker cards, so I wanted to bring the two together for one awesome card. This fall inspired card uses Melody Lane Designs Holly Digital paper and Maymay Made It's “Memory Lane” Stamp set. This would make a great fall birthday card for the man in your life. The card basics to cut are listed below. You can see how to make this card in my youtube video. However, while putting this one together, there were some mistakes. I decided to leave them in, both to show we all make mistakes – but more importantly how to correct those mistakes. If you make this card be sure and share it on the Melody Lane Digital facebook page.
Cut from Holly Digital Paper:
Card Base 7”x10”
Card Front 5”x7”
Inside Mat 4 ¾”x6 ¾ ”
Cut from White Cardstock (I used 110lb.)
Mat 4 ½”x6 ½”
Mat for slider 4 ¼”x5 ¾”
2 Strips ¼”x6”
1 Strip ¼”x4”
Acetate
2 Pieces – 4 7/8”x6”

I love the look of your digital paper, but worried my printer won’t make it look the same and too costly for me. But I have seen your tour of your house in the Villages and loved your craft room. You sit in front of a lot of solid colored scrapbooking paper and have MANY colors. Where do you get
that paper? I have trouble with my paper tearing in my cricut if I choose a smaller or more intracit design. Maybe I am not setting my dial correctly, just don’t know??? I have the Cricut Air 2
